Logistics Officer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Officer to manage all aspects of logistics throughout our supply chain. The candidate should be able to organise, manage inventory, storage, and transportation and ensure safe and timely pick-up and delivery of the products.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all supply chain operations.

Plan warehouses and distribution Centres for efficiency in both operations and capacity.

Organising and managing inventory, storage and transportation of produce or products.

Reviewing, preparing and routing purchase orders.

Coordinate and track movement of products/produce through logistics pathways.

Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of products/produce.

Addressing and resolving inventory issues.

Liaising and negotiating with suppliers.

Shall perform any other duties assigned.

3 years’ experience as logistics Officer.

Working Knowledge of Legal regulations and ISO Requirements.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft office and logistics software.

Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.

Creativity and commercial awareness skills.

Customer-oriented approach.
